I have well over 100 pairs of shoes and boots. Color changing, noise making, walk replacing, you name it. However, I still find myself wearing the same few pairs over and over. Most of these are ones I made myself: simple, strappy, stilettos. Not every pile of prims is a shoe, ladies. It takes a little art to cover just the right amount of that ugly club and make it beautiful. For me, it’s all about the foot. I won’t even BUY a pair that does not show it on a foot in the ad.
Well, what IS a prim shoe? Basically its a system shoe, covered by a prims. The SL avatar foot barely has enough vertices to make a decent FOOT shape, and yet it is supposed to be streched into all sorts of boots and shoes. Long ago some clever person invented the invisiprim which hides avatar parts with a script, but lets prims show through! And lo, Prim Shoes were born. This clever invisiprim hides the ugly unfootlike bits from view allowing us to wear these gorgeous, impossibly slim heeled designs we all love.
My shoes are very simple. Generally strappy, with a high stiletto heel. I have tried to bring out the beauty of the SL avatar foot. Always MOD/COPY and sold in black but you can make them any color you like! Consider, for example:
…this sandal with two slender straps hugging the big toe, an ankle strap with a silver buckle, and a built in toe ring.
Or a 60′s inspired funky platform shoe…
Or this black velvet office pump with buckled ankle strap accent.
Oh, and did I mention they were cheap?
the whole line of shoes so far are available at my little shop @ http://slurl.com/secondlife/Fletcher/40/7/148
Hope to see you there.
